Correct take here. Wake’s OL is below average for a P4 OL. Their DL is slightly above average for this level. Both worked us up front after a solid showing on both fronts vs a much better SMU team. It wasn’t talent and resources that lost this game. It was coming out flat, never getting into a rhythm, never sustaining offensive drives, and inability to get off the field or convert on wakes side of the field when it mattered the most. Second half you had 5 offensive drives. All five we crossed the 50 but never got into the red zone.

Jeff shrugs off question about the heat playing a factor. Says they’ll be ready.
