SESSION NOTES
NOTES — From the Pink Seats (Syracuse Preview Episode)
- Syracuse is on its 4th-string QB (Danny Lauder, a Georgetown transfer) after injuries to Steve Angeli, Amari Odom, and Malachi Nelson; hosts discussed how that instability affects Syracuse's offensive approach and likely heavy reliance on RB Ty Hill and WR Omari Hatcher.
- Discussed Syracuse's defensive personnel: interior DL Rashard Perry (praised as a disruptive run-stuffer/pass-rusher), CB Divion Kerr (strong coverage numbers, likely shadowing Trey Richardson or Lawayne McCoy), and linebackers Anton Delaurier and D'Appollonia (physically imposing but inconsistent tacklers — flagged as a potential "home run" opportunity for Louisville's offense).
- Uniform Review: Louisville's road set for the Syracuse game previewed as white helmet/white jersey/red pants; both hosts approved, with a preference noted for an all-white look with red accents.
- "Outlandish Uniform of the Week" segment covered Cal's Grateful Dead-tribute helmets (well-received) and Coastal Carolina's retro '90s throwback uniforms (more divisive, called "outlandish").
- Episode recorded on-site at Cryo Lounge (sponsor), with recurring bits (sauna tradition, Parkside Realty, Alumni Hall) tied to the show's sponsorship segments.
ACTION ITEMS
- Unassigned: Cover more Rashard Perry, Divion Kerr, and Syracuse's linebacker tackling tendencies in the upcoming "chalk talk" segment of the show.
- Unassigned: Display/show the Cal Grateful Dead helmet and Coastal Carolina uniform visuals for recorded/video viewers who couldn't see them live.
- Unassigned: Confirm final home uniform combo (helmet/jersey/pants) once officially unveiled by the program.
