SESSION NOTES
NOTES
- Episode is the Florida State preview show; hosts broke down FSU's top offensive threats — RB Deuce Robinson (big, fast, likely first-round NFL talent) and QB Ashton Daniels (run-heavy "putt-putt" scheme, limited passing threat) plus RBs Omarion/Uzomane Cromer and Trey Wisner.
- Discussed FSU's defense as largely unremarkable outside of edge rusher Ryland Kennedy (4 sacks), with hosts comparing him favorably to UofL's Clebb's sack total.
- Uniform Review (presented by Alumni Hall): hosts graded this week's black alternate uniform highly (B+/A-), with Vince saying he'd like it as the full-time home/away design; Keith prefers the classic white helmet/all-white road look as the program's best.
- X's & O's/whiteboard segment: both agreed UofL's defensive keys are stopping FSU's run game, forcing Daniels to throw, and bracketing/double-teaming Deuce Robinson; discussed using young DBs (Antonio Harris, Jayden Brodnax) in press coverage.
- On offense, emphasis on protecting QB Lincoln Keenholz given FSU's blitz-heavy, "mugged-up" pressure packages that reportedly confuse UofL's O-line; need better pass-pro communication and quicker/short passing game to counter it.
ACTION ITEMS
- Vince: Advocate internally/on-air for game plan that brackets or double-teams Deuce Robinson and forces Ashton Daniels to beat UofL through the air.
- Vince: Push for increased reps/trust in young DBs Antonio Harris and Jayden Brodnax in man/press coverage against FSU.
- @Producer_Keith: Continue tracking FSU's blitz/mugged-look tendencies from the Virginia game for defensive-pass-pro scouting angle.
- @Producer_Keith: Highlight protecting L
